Miso
This Ramen truly hits the spot every time! Just as good for takeout as it is in person. The brussel sprouts are another noteable mention. Will definitely be back!
Karaage Chicken
Karaage chicken cooked to perfection as always. My pro tip is to combine both sauces together, you won't be disappointed. I always order the Karaage Chicken from Rudy's.
Spicy Miso
This was my first time trying any type of ramen at Rudy's and I came in with high expectations. Based off the recommendation from our server that the miso was the most flavorful of the ramen on the menu, I chose the Spicy Miso - because I enjoy spicy food. Not only did it meet my high expectations, but I left the restaurant thinking that this was the best ramen I've ever had in Chicago. The spiciness level was not too spicy and the flavor profile was outstanding
Vegetarian Ramen
Wow! I am not one to normally leave a review, but I was incredibly blown away by my dinner tonight at Rudy's. I got the vegetarian ramen (added egg), and not only was the ramen some of the best I've ever had in the city, but the hospitality was absolutely lovely. I felt like me and my date were the special guests of the night. I will most definitely be returning!
Tonkotsu
Incredible broth, excellent service, and beautiful interior. Easily the best place for ramen in West Town!
Habanero Mayo Chicken Bun
Can't go wrong with a bao bun. Slight sweetness of the bun pairs well with the flavors of the chicken and the garnish. It's hard not to order one of these once you've had one.
Takoyaki
The takoyaki always comes out on point. Always steaming hot and flavorful. The bits of the octopus are the perfect bite once they've cooled down. I always order these from Rudy's.
Spicy Tonkotsu
I've been on a serious ramen kick lately, and Rudy's has blown every other spot out of the water. The Tonkotsu ramen was incredible --- the pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the broth rich, and the spice level perfectly balanced. My partner ordered the Spicy Miso, and we were both obsessed with how flavorful that broth was. We also tried every bun on the menu, and it was honestly hard to pick a favorite. On top of the amazing food, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the space had a great vibe. You can tell they put real care into everything they serve. Rudy's is officially our go-to ramen spot now. Highly recommend checking it out --- you won't be disappointed!
Spicy Tonkotsu
This spot is great! The ramen is rich and comforting, and you can tell they actually care about what they're serving. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff.
Tonkotsu
The broth for this ramen is delicious and so flavorful. It is light, tasty, and perfect for all weather. The ramen is the perfect size portion, enough to fill you up. I added bok choy to my ramen for additional vegetables.
